Plan ahead, book travel now and save on CSA's key national events for 2012.  This article provides brief information about times and locations for our major conferences.  It also contains the link for online registration for the National Policy Forum in May. 

Christian Schools National Policy Forum

Rydge’s Lakeside, Canberra, 21-22 May 2012

This is the key annual policy gathering of the Christian schools sector.  The NPF brings together school leaders from across the sector with key policy makers in Canberra.  The two day forum includes a dinner in the Great Hall, Parliament House, attended by many MPs and Senators, at the invitation of their local schools.

Registrations are now open for the 2012 Forum.  The improved online registration form includes three accommodation options at different price points, and gives access to discounted airfare bookings.  The Forum starts at 9.30 am on Monday 21 May and finishes at 4.00 pm on Tuesday 22 May.

CSA National Leaders Conference

The Esplanade, Fremantle, 8 – 10 August 2012  (+Pre conference school visits 7 August)

The National Leaders Conference is the annual ‘family gathering’ of leaders from CSA schools.  Board members, Principals, Business Managers, and other key leaders gather for part spiritual retreat, part professional development.  In 2012 the conference returns to Fremantle, one of our most relaxing and popular venues in recent times. 

The venue is The Esplanade, Fremantle.  Registration and accommodation at conference rates will be available during term one. 

In the meantime, if you like to keep an eye out for discounted airfares, you’ll find the information below helpful:

  • Conference programme commences 10.00 am, 8/8/2012 at the Esplanade, Fremantle. 
  • Conference finishes 12.30 pm 10/8/2012. 
  • Fremantle is about 45 minutes from Perth Airport.
  • Pre-conference school visits: 7/8/2012.  Join a bus at either Perth airport or at the Esplanade Fremantle (pre-bookings will be essential).  We plan for buses to depart both locations at approx 10.00 am and return delegates to Fremantle.  Delegates may also have the opportunity to join colleagues part way through the day at one of the schools.

Christian Schools National Business Conference

The Hilton, Adelaide, 19 – 21 September 2012 

The National Business Conference is a biennial gathering for Bursars, Business Managers, IT Managers, Marketing and other key admin staff.  This event invites participation from the Christian Schools movement.

The conference will focus on key issues impacting on the financial, administration and IT management of schools.  It will also provide spiritual refreshment and fellowship for those attending. 

Registration and programme details will be available during 2012. For those who want to book airfares early, the key details are as follows:

  • Conference programme commences 10.00 am, 19/9/2012 at the Hilton Adelaide
  • Conference finishes at 12.30 pm, 21/9/2012
  • The Hilton is in central Adelaide, about 15 minutes from Adelaide airport
