Year 4 students at Hillcrest Christian College in Victoria have participated in a radio program with Casey Radio Station—a locally-based community radio station.

The students present an hour long radio program once a week, choosing music and items for the people in the community to listen to.

They use the time on air to share with the community about what the Year 4 students are doing at Hillcrest and other events that take place around the College.

This innovative program helps the students to become more self-confident and improve their listening and speaking skills while also teaching them the importance of time management, co-operation and communication skills.
