A strong demand for Christian education in northern Adelaide is seeing parents enrolling children before they are born.

Principal of Tyndale Christian College, Mike Potter, says that two or three expecting couples per year are registering their children for enrolment at the school.

Such early enrolments are increasingly common, said Mr Potter, as 140 applications are received each year for 70 places in Reception.

Craigmore Christian School is also experiencing strong enquiries for enrolments.

Enrolment officer Tony Harrison said he also has had applications lodged for unborn babies.
