Congratulations to Bethany Fairfield from Tyndale Christian School (Year 12 – Sports Captain) who has just been announced as the winner of the Australian Olympic Councils – 2010 Pierre de Coubertin Award winner for South Australia.

The award is given to “celebrate the Olympic spirit ... and to students who are active participants in sport and display the Olympic ideals of fair play and sportsmanship” and “also demonstrate the attributes consistent with the fundamental aims of the Olympics movement”.
