Maranatha Christian College students have started making toiletry bags for sick children admitted into Rockingham Hospital.

The bags are given to patients who arrive at the hospital either emergency, paediatrics or day surgery and don’t have access to any toiletries.

The fashion design students from Year 9 and 10 started designing the bags to assist the group The Friends of Rockingham, who started the programme.

So far the supportive students have made 20 bags which the hospital volunteers will fill with essential toiletry supplies.
