St George Christian School is putting their value for caring for their wider community into practice by fundraising for victims of the earthquake disaster that recently hit Christchurch.

A number of students that form the group ‘Beyond Ourselves’ are dedicating time and effort to different fund-raising activities in order to help those around them. In an effort to make an impact on their local and wider community, the students try to have an ethical standpoint on issues to aid whatever they can.

The small Christian school at Hurstville encourages their student body in placing significant value on contributing to the outside world.
