Belmont Christian College

Belmont Christian College, a ministry of Belmont Baptist Church, began in 1982.

The College is administered by a Board of Directors, elected annually by the College Company.  The Board is comprised of representatives from Belmont Baptist Church, the parent body and the staff.

Enrolment at the college is open to people from the wider Christian community and our students are drawn from Newcastle, Lake Macquarie and the Central Coast.  Our college is affiliated and has a very close association with Christian Schools Australia (CSA), an organisation established to provide advice and support to Christian schools nationally and internationally.  They provide administrative and professional advice as well as regular inservice to staff of affiliated schools.

Our college seeks to provide a warm family atmosphere and encourages the fullest possible development of the spiritual, social, academic, physical and emotional characteristics of each student.  It is recognised that students have different talents and abilities, as well as differing degrees of ability and we aim to offer a happy, secure educational environment where these talents and gifts can be developed.  We set high standards of education and discipline within our college.
