Mount Annan Christian College

Mount Annan Christian College is a P-12 school located on thirty seven acres of land in a semi-rural setting in south west Sydney.

We are passionate about providing the best possible education for our students and instilling within each student a strong belief that their potential is limitless. We believe it is essential to see the growth and development of the whole child. It is our desire to see each student come to the end of their schooling prepared and ready to make a positive impact in their community and generation.

Prep Class The Prep program is designed to provide a comprehensive preparation for the children’s transition into Kindergarten. We provide children with a structured routine and a variety of opportunities to practice basic Literacy and Numeracy skills. These experiences include pre-writing, pre-reading and number activities. The Prep Class is integrated into the life and programs of the College on a weekly basis, allowing them to meet their future teachers and mix with children of different ages and abilities.

Junior School (K-5) Underlying all quality programs and activities that exist is an environment that is safe, welcoming, inspirational and productive. Each child will always be encouraged to believe and strive for the limitless potential that has been placed within each child’s life.

Children are taught to believe that God has filled their lives with destiny, talents and creativity as individuals. Therefore, it is the sincerest desire of all staff within the Junior School to create opportunities for this to surface and see the children succeed.

Middle School (6-8) Through the use of Homeroom Teachers our primary concerns within Middle School are to assist students through these years of schooling by ensuring they have total pastoral care, and to seek to support students through close monitoring and promotion of study and organisational skills. Our aim is to provide an atmosphere in which all students can achieve to the best of their ability in an effective and stimulating learning environment. A significant area of an adolescent’s development is understanding the importance of being connected, of knowing where they fit in and of being accepted. Therefore, Middle School is focused on developing the individual needs of our students academically, emotionally and spiritually in a caring and supportive environment.

Senior School (9-12) The Senior School at Mount Annan Christian College is a place where your child will receive a quality, diverse and inclusive education as they journey to adulthood. Our desire is to see each student reach their potential academically, socially and spiritually. Parents can have confidence that if a student is willing to put in the hard work, we have the teaching and learning programs in place that will facilitate each student’s desire to enjoy an academic journey of excellence. Students are given opportunities to share their faith and grow stronger in their Christian walk.
