Mullumbimby Christian School

MCS began in the hall of the Mullumbimby Presbyterian Church 1984, and moved to the current site on Main Arm Road in the early 1990s.  Originally a member of Christian Parent Controlled Schools (CPCS), the school's governance model changed in March 2009 with Summerland Christian College becoming the proprietor of the school.  This places MCS in the privileged position of having had 'a foot in both camps' of Christian Education National (formerly CPCS) and Christian Schools Australia, our current governing body.    

Parental involvement has always been an important aspect of the MCS story.  We value and passionately seek to support parents in their God-given responsibility of nurturing their children. An integral part of the Mullum Christian School DNA has always been the strong partnership between home and school.
