Our educational philosophy is based on a God-centered view of life as presented in the Bible, and is focused on helping our students develop a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.

Our approach to education is both joyful and challenging, focusing on teaching students to analyse and solve problems, rather than simply memorise facts. In the process, they learn to reflect on their own strengths and weaknesses, understand the uniqueness of others, and to be responsible and independent in their studies. We believe the entire process of Christian education is a means used by God to help our students to understand and fulfill God's purpose for their lives.

We encourage the development of the whole child.

We recognise that each child is an individual with different God-given talents that need to be nurtured by providing opportunities for growth spiritually, physically, socially, emotionally and intellectually. By observing, planning and evaluating, we seek to provide for the child's needs while allowing for the child's individual, spontaneous and creative interests to be explored. We believe the authority for Christian education comes from God's command in Proverbs 22:6, to "Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it."

At GSCS, various teaching methods are delivered by our well trained staff. Staff encourage active involvement of parents in their child's learning. We encourage a culture that celebrates success and creates opportunities to learn. We aim to unlock the students' talents and help them become independent learners and valued members of the wider community.
