Harvest Christian School

Harvest Christian School began in 2000 with 40 students in two classrooms. Today the school population has grown to 224 from Reception to Year 10 with plans to move to Years 11 & 12 in 2008.

Harvest has maintained its strong "family" atmosphere through encouraging students and staff to care for one another. Daily pastoral care groups and activities such as "Buddies" and vertically arranged home groups assist with this. The school is non denominational and has an open enrolment policy which welcomes all families in the area. Children's special learning needs are also a priority. Specialist resources include Computing Suite, Technical Studies workshop, well appointed Home Economics, Art, Music and Science rooms. There is a strong Music focus in the school with two choirs, a worship band and dance group operating.

Parents rate the imparting of Christian values and the love and care of children very highly in their evaluation of the school's performance and the Christian ethos of the school that remains our focus.
