Murraylands Christian College - Strathalbyn

In 1991 the foundations of a new school were laid in Strathalbyn, a tranquil country town on the Fleurieu Peninsula some 65kms from Adelaide. At that time a Scripture of promise,"all your chilkdren will be taught by the Lord and great wil be your children's peace,"(Isaiah 54:13) also formed the predominant values upon which Murraylands Christian College was built. The school is part of the ministry of the Emmanuel Church Outreach.

The vision of the founders was to provide an interdenominational school to support Christian families educate their children. There has been substantial growth over the years as well as the fulfillment of this passionate vision. The school has an enrolment of 340 from Reception to Year 12. There is also an early Learning Centre for pre-school aged children.

Murrylands Christian College provides a Christ-centred programme catering for the spiritual, educational and physical needs of all children.
