Portside Christian School is located in the north-western suburbs of Adelaide (near Port Adelaide). This co-ed, interdenominational school was established in 1976 and is a ministry of Portside Community Church, a member of CRC Churches International. The school caters for Preschool to Year 12 students.

Portside Christian School exists to support families who want their children educated within a Biblical framework. Most of our students come from families where at least one of the parents is a committed Christian.

Special features of the school are:

  • Small classes, especially in the Secondary area;
  • A strong sense of community;
  • Many opportunities to be involved in sports(basketball, soccer, athletics, netball);
  • A developing VET (Vocational Education and Training) program with students able to achieve TAFE Certificate accreditation and SACE points in Employment Skills, Information Technology and, Conservation and Land Management;
  • A growing emphasis on environmental education with mangrove management and recycling as the key areas;
  • An outdoor education program for Years 6-10 which includes camps;
  • An emphasis on performing arts - music, drama and dance.
