You need JavaScript enabled to view it Mildura Christian College was established in 1981 as a ministry of Mildura Baptist Church, and operates in modern, attractive, fully air-conditioned buildings. The College is set among vineyards 10 kilometres from Mildura on the Murray River. The College offers a warm, friendly environment to children of Christian families. Each student is made to feel special. The focus is on prevention and positives. It’s a happy place! The curriculum is structured to meet individual needs and levels of ability. It is phonics based, and incorporates Biblical principles. Students are encouraged to take responsibility for their learning, self-discipline and general social skills. They are taught how to identify natural gifts and talents, and to develop them to the fullest potential. Class sizes are kept small with a teacher to student ratio of approximately one teacher for every 17 students. Extra Curricular Activities include: Student Conventions, Musicals, drama, speech, textiles & design, athletics, volleyball and weekly Chapel. All staff are committed Christians who love children, aspire to maintain the highest possible standards of academic excellence, and uphold Biblical behaviour patterns.
