HillSide Christian School caters for Kindergarten to Year 7 with plans to move to high school in 2008. The school is part of the ministry of HillSide Christian Church, a vibrant charismatic church in the metropolitan suburb of Forrestfield.
The vision of the HillSide Christian School is to see students discover God and to be transformed through an exploration of themselves and His world so that they might fulfill His purpose for them according to their gifts and talents. Students should see God as personal, alive, and fun.
The school believes that the academic, social (citizenship), spiritual and physical potential of each student is achieved through the implementation of an innovative partnership between parents, staff, students and the community within a philosophical framework created by the beliefs and values of the Christian faith and displayed in the principles of personal safety, opportunity, justice, equity, character development, pride, high standards, and self-worth.
HillSide aims to provide stimulating learning experiences within a Christian context so that each student wants to learn, accept responsibility for their own actions, and contribute to the development of themselves and the community.
