A new role for Andrew Johnson

21 November 2016

Redlands College has announced the appointment of Andrew Johnson to the position of Principal, commencing in Term 1 2017.

Consequently, Andrew will be stepping down as Qld State Executive Officer of CSA at the end of 2016.

“Since 2010 Andrew has served CSA with energy and diligence,” said CEO Stephen O’Doherty.

“Andrew has been a driving force behind quality professional and personal learning in Qld, from the successful State conference through to interstate professional exchange delegations.

“He has provided excellent support to CSA’s Principals in Queensland and has been a valuable member of our national executive team, including involvement with our national curriculum project,” he said.

Andrew previously served as a Principal before joining CSA.

A sabbatical to North America in 2009 sparked an academic research interest in faith formation practices. He is currently completing doctoral studies in this area.

“CSA warmly congratulates both Andrew and Redlands College on the appointment,” Mr O’Doherty said.

The Qld State Council and incoming CEO Daniel Pampuch will provide details of staffing arrangements in Qld early in the new year.
