Excerpt B3

Striving for excellence not perfection

"Students need to be challenged to pursue excellence.  In striving for excellence, self-discipline, strength of character and self-esteem come to the fore and become intangible parts of the student’s concept of self (1 Corinthians 9:27). Though some students may require additional support, this is framed within the greater understanding that no one will achieve perfection until they are with Christ (1 John 3:2)".
