An outline of clear success criteria for students, so that learning intentions are known. Having high expectations of student achievement is a key to aiding the development of a student. Problem solving and hands on learning are key aspects. Variety of tasks to be employed that encourages students to use their learning styles; kinesthetic, visual and auditory and Gardner’s model of learning. Opportunities for reflection and gaining an understanding of how one learns need to be included."
