Information Session | Christian Schools Community Profile – Why Parents Choose Christian Schools

February 23 @ 5:00 pm - 5:45 pm

It is with great excitement that CSA will soon launch its third important piece of national research on Christian schools that will provide a detailed understanding of the parents that select Christian schools for their children.
This comprehensive national study will investigate the profiles, passions, perceptions and priorities of our Christian school families.
The Christian Schools Community Profile (CSCP): WHY PARENTS CHOOSE CHRISTIAN SCHOOLS will focus specially on CSA member school parents from across each State and Territory in Australia and will seek to identify, understand and analyse the backgrounds, values, faith commitments, spirituality, interests and decision-making practices and expectations of parents within a dynamic, rapidly changing Australian society.
Over the past decade, there have been seismic shifts in the families that enrol students in our Christian schools, and families are coming to our schools with diverse and at times surprising expectations and motivations for choosing Christian schooling options for their children.

Formal expressions of interest for ALL CSA member schools to be involved in this study will be sent in mid-February 2021.
This completely online survey will be coordinated by the nation leading public research group ORIMA Research and will be available via an online d portal and link for all schools participating in the survey to send to their parent communities in mid-March 2021.

All participating schools will receive (via an online portal) an analysis of their school against national profiles from across the CSA member school network, as well as state benchmarking and a school specific report that will identify trends and patterns within your given school community and how these compare to other CSA schools in your region, state and across the nation.  You will not want to miss out on this unprecedented opportunity so please consider being part of this exciting project.

To further explain the project in more detail, a Christian Schools Community Profile virtual information session and Question and Answer facilitated by Dr Darren Iselin CSA Director of Research and Innovation will take place at 5pm (AEDT) on 23rd February 2021. If interested, please register to access the zoom link to attend this information session.

We are looking forward to as many CSA member schools as possible participating in this exciting research project.
