Join us on Tuesday 4th May for a Leaders Training Day to help school leaders build their own rhetoric and understanding surrounding the conversion therapy and religious freedom conversation.

Meet your speakers
DR BRIAN HARRIS
A sought out speaker, teacher, leader and writer. A widely respected theologian, after 17 years as principal of Vose Seminary, he recently became the founding director of the AVENIR Leadership Institute, an initiative of the Carey Group committed to fostering leaders who will make a positive impact on the world. While leading the Institute, Brian continues to do some part time teaching at the Vose Campus of Morling College, is a Director of the Australian College of Theology and a Distinguished International Visiting Scholar of Spurgeon’s College, London. His book, The Tortoise Usually Wins: Biblical Reflections on Quiet Leadership (Paternoster, 2013) continues to empower people who don’t naturally see themselves as leaders, whilst his most recent book, Why Christianity is Probably True (Paternoster, 2020) is helping to shift the tone of the discussion about faith.
A strong project manager with a wealth of experience working in the educational and employment policy environment. Skilled in Political Advocacy, Project Management, Policy Writing, Government Relations, Media and Report Writing. Strong interpersonal skills with a Graduate Diploma of Education and a Bachelor of Arts/Economics from Monash University.
With nearly thirty years professional experience serving Christian schools, Mark Spencer was appointed in a national policy role at Christian Schools Australia in 2010. Mark is responsible for advocacy on behalf of Christian schools in a wide range of educational policy as well as areas relating to religious freedom and equal opportunity and discrimination law, both at the Commonwealth and State or Territory level.
James has ministered internationally across more than 50 nations and has a passion for the godly restoration of men and women.
His life story involves being fostered and adopted, childhood sexual abuse, LGBTQ activism and questioning his gender.
Today, he loves being a dad, hitting the beach and following Aussie Rules.

No refunds will be issued after 3 days out from the event. Any cancellations made after this date will be charged the full registration fee. ‘No Shows’ to the event will be charged the full registration fee.
