SA Counsellors and Wellbeing Network (Northern Hub) #1 – POSTPONED
11th April 2018 @ 2:00 pm - 4:00 pmFree
The Three Ps of working in a school: Policies, Procedures and Processes
Formerly the SA Student Welfare Network, this will be a wonderful opportunity to gather a group of those working in schools for the wellbeing of students. As wellbeing teams working in a school we need to constantly be considering the system we work within in a school environment but also managing the requirements of our position as wellbeing providers. At our upcoming network meeting, we are wanting to have a round table discussion around what the “three Ps” mean and why these are important in the school system. To begin the conversation, Tyndale Christian School (Salisbury East) is offering a small presentation by the counsellors, nurses and family services coordinators (social workers) to introduce the policies, procedures and processes they have adopted within their context. As there is no one size fits all, we are wanting to have discussion following the presentation about what policies, procedures and processes you have at your school so we can learn from each other. Being able to share, what has worked, what is not working and new areas of growth needed is ultimately the main goal of this network meeting. Please come ready to share!
