The CSA SA SpecNet Group exists to provide service and support to Special Ed Teachers in Christian Schools in South Australia. Come to further develop your networks, be inspired and encouraged.

*Developmental Educators are privately employed educators who work with the whole family, often around Autism or Language Disorder. They may start working with children before they start school, often working with the Kindy, and they are very helpful in Transitions for children with sensory and language/ behaviour needs. With the advent of the NDIS, this is a growing sector and high calibre people are moving into these roles

N.B. – Bring your policies / frameworks for discussion and comparison
Now that NCDD is driving funding, schools could be ripe for updating their policies to reflect the evidence and data collection procedures embedded in policy. …. Be prepared to discuss policies on criteria for IEPs, criteria for entry onto the register, criteria for assessment against goals or achievement standards etc.
