Vic Youth Prayer Breakfast
June 19 @ 7:00 am - 9:30 am$48
CSA Vic/Tas is delighted to invite staff and senior students (Years 10-12) from your school to this event! The purpose of the breakfast is to give senior Christian students the opportunity to come together and acknowledge the importance of their faith and the need for prayer in our community. This is an opportunity for them to:
- Pray for God’s guidance for the leaders of our state and nation; and
- Inspire and encourage one another to use their gifts to be effective ministers of the gospel within their community
Our guest speaker this year is Az Hamilton of Just Motivation:
“Az has an incredible ability to connect through stories and personal experiences spent both overseas and within Australian communities that will inspire your students to live a life worth getting excited about. His personal experiences have seen him being evacuated from the volatile nation of Haiti in 2008, spending time in Kenya’s Mathare Slum in 2011 and living in some of Australia’s roughest areas. These experiences have given Az a unique view on the world and a strong authority to speak on social justice issues being faced in our own country and beyond our borders. With a decade of experience in media and communication, Founder and Director of Just Motivation, Az Hamilton is on a mission to challenge hearts to connect with small ideas that can bring about BIG change in the world.”
Students from various schools will lead our worship time, scripture reading, and prayer. Students will be asked to rotate and join in prayer with students from other schools around focus issues at the tables.
Consider booking a table of ten for students and staff from your school. Ticket prices are $48 (+GST) per person or $450 per table of ten. Students may sit together with their school, or choose to sit and mix with other schools. To avoid disappointment secure tickets now by submitting the attached (soft copy) registration booking form by Monday 4 June. Further information may be found on the attached invitation letter.
This is an opportunity not to be missed!
