The National Copyright Unit (NCU) was established by the COAG Education Council to provide advice and support to Australian Schools and TAFEs, including all Christian schools.
Each year the NCU provides a range of ‘Copyright for Educators’ seminars. These are free face-to-face seminars presented by the NCU and only open to educators, librarians and administrators in Schools and TAFEs.
The seminar is for any educator who wants to learn about copyright, statutory licensing, educational exceptions and open educational resources. It is open to all educators, specifically targeted to teachers, teacher-librarians from K-12.
The course material is built around practical case studies faced by educators when using copyright material in their day to day teaching and educational instruction.
The seminars are conducted in each capital city around Australia. For dates and contact information to register please head to the Smartcopying website page here.
