National Reconciliation Week is coming up (27 May – June 3) and is bookended by the anniversaries of two important dates; the 1967 referendum and the 1992 landmark High Court Mabo decision.
This year’s theme is – More than a Word: Reconciliation Takes Action.
One way of taking action is to learn more and understand the importance of the week. Our friends at Australians Together have resources that can help you unpack and explore, with students, why these dates are significant and continue to have an impact today.
You can find out more and access the resources here.
