Culture
Culture is essentially “the way we do things around here”. Culture is shaped by interwoven elements that include core beliefs and assumptions, shared values, norms and behaviours; and visual and symbolic objects and artefacts. In a Christian school context, these core cultural elements are framed by distinctively biblical principles, a commitment to flourishing and a Kingdom Education– that has Christ at the centre, holding all things together.

The Flourish project has been specifically designed to be run as a full day of training. It is, however, comprised of four individual sessions that can be used as separate training modules if desired. The four modules are: Vision, Culture, Faith and Practice. There is a Facilitators Guide and a number of resources for each session including the session playbooks and immersion videos. Below is a trailer for this program.
“Christian Education” is an overused and often abused phrase. There are many Independent schools who use the expression “Christian Education“, but what do they mean?
To find out how Christian Education is much more at CSA, head to Kingdom Education, where Dr. Glen Schultz looks at developing education God’s way and 13 key elements of Kingdom Education.
