CSA and ACSI Australia believe that as a global movement of Christian schools, and as ambassadors of Christ, we are called to emulate Christ by humbly serving others and preaching the Gospel in word and deed.
We envision Christian schools that are obedient to Christ’s commands to show grace to the poor and marginalised, build unity in the global church, and bring glory to God’s name. As a result, students would grow to be bold in their faith, full of compassion and empathy, and always “dressed ready for service” (Luke 12:35) as they pursue Christ throughout their whole lives.
To assist in this goal, the tabs on the left contain resources related to Mission and Service activities, including overseas trips and service-learning activities. These resources can serve as an initial ‘starting point’ for schools and should be adapted to each school context.
Bring it to Life
If your school has considered pursuing a service-learning project or program, we encourage you to listen to a podcast of the authors discussing their work here. You can purchase the accompanying book ‘Bring it to Life’ on our Store by clicking on the cover image to the right.

Service, and servitude, is at the heart of the gospel and the biblical framework. As many of our schools are working hard to integrate this into school life and curriculum, we have developed a number of excellent, comprehensive resources to help you shape your thinking with “best-practice” ideas and frameworks for service learning in your school.
