The Government is required to undertake a review of the Australian Charities and Not for profits Commission Act 2012 and the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (Consequential and Transitional) Act 2012 after their first five years of operation. The Government has appointed a review panel to conduct the review comprising:
- Mr Patrick McClure AO, (chair)
- Mr Greg Hammond OAM,
- Ms Su McCluskey, and
- Dr Matthew Turnour.
The review panel will also conduct roundtables across the country to hear from interested stakeholders and is seeking submissions from the public up until 28 February 2018.
A report on the review’s findings and recommendations is required to be made to the Government by 31 May 2018.
CSA will be reviewing the Terms of Reference, attached below, and will respond on behalf of member schools.
