Cassandra has been in the role of EO NSW/ACT at CSA since 2014. She has a background in both Christian Education (10 years) and HR/Management Consulting (25 years).

Cass is committed to serving the Christian Education sector and supporting leadership in schools.

Cass commenced as EO NSW/ACT at CSA in 2014 and over that time has led the rollover of school registration from CSA to NESA and led a range of networks, professional development seminars and advocacy for Christian Schools.  She is a member of the Independent Schools Consultative Committee, the Children’s Guardian Education Sector Roundtable and has established the NSW Christian Education Sector Roundtable with representatives from Christian School organisations who meets with the Education Minister biannually.

Cass also has the national portfolio for Curriculum and has been integral in the development of the God’s Big Story Framework and design and presentation of a range of curriculum resources for teachers in CSA Schools that fit with the Australian Curriculum.

Prior to her experience in education, Cass worked in the corporate sector as an HR and Management Consultant. She spent three years internationally in resources (primarily in Asia), and has also gained experience in the banking/finance, pharmaceutical, construction and IT industries. Throughout her 20 years in industry, Cassandra specialised in Organisational Design and Development, Learning and Development and Performance Improvement.

Cass holds a Masters in Leadership and Management through The University of Newcastle and a Bachelor of Arts with a Diploma of Education from Macquarie University. In 2019, Cass commenced a PhD in Spiritual Well-being and Leadership in Christian Schools, through Avondale University College.

A Christian since her teens (with thanks to the 74 Billy Graham Crusade), Cass attends Coast Community Church where she is an active member of the community.

Cass also has a passion for developing teachers in Christian Schools Internationally. Previously she has spent three years training Christian teachers in the Philippines with New Hope International and has worked with Samaritans Purse in Cambodia on the Education Project.

Cass has two adult children and lives in a ‘haven’ on the Central Coast. Her interests include; outrigger canoeing, ocean swimming, art, music, literature, theatre, movies, great food and the company of good friends.
