On Wednesday 10 June 2026, the Barr Labor Government released the 2026-2027 budget.
The recent private member’s bill tabled in WA poses a major threat to faith-based schooling. It seeks to remove religious schools from existing legal protections and abolish the dedicated exemption that currently safeguards their faith-based ethos.
